Regarding the feedback system, I don't think that turning off the fridge can be a viable solution. Indeed, it appears to me as an essential commodity, and could lead to food spoilage.

"conscious energy use" tool is a good idea but this tool requires energy and in a way rare materials .. as our cell phones or connected devices do..
